New Street

New Street Itself leads down to the river front, where you can hire a rowing boat and enjoy the scenery and picturesque views, including the boats cruising by, the rowing teams working hard and the ducks are ready to be fed anytime of the day!

Despite it's name, New Street is believed to be over 500 years old.

Home to the Kenton Theatre, who celebrated it's 200th anniversary in 2005 (1805 - 2005) and is the second oldest working theatre in Britain. New Street is also a former home to the original Brakspear brewery and the Malt houses just a few doors away.
